ATA News Update – Membership clinics and Paying for Events

Now is the time to start renewing membership (there is a saving before the AGM!) or even join if you haven’t already.

Separately, we are having to ask for some events to be paid in advance for members to guarantee their places. The Christmas Dinner and Quiz, on 22nd December, is one of these so please look out for a membership clinic to pay.

Everyone is invited to the Girne Ramadan Cemil Sqare,10.30 – 16.30 on 19th and 20th October 2024 to meet the artists and watch them paint. The exhibition will be held at Lefkosa, Ismet İsmet Vehit Güney Cultural Centre. Opening 21st October 2024 qt 18.30. A donation will be made from sale of paintings to Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk – İngiliz Derneği Anglo Turkish Association North Cyprus . Please share this and come along to the workshop and exhibition

ATA News Update – October 2024

1. Membership Clinic at Denizbank this Wednesday -16th October. Come in to join, renew your membership, get details of our events and look at the special deal that DenizBank has for our members – 50% off foreign transactions!

Look for our sign in the branch at Karaoglanoglu (opposite  The Ship Inn).

2. Games Day is changing in November. We are trying NEW GAMES. On offer will be:

• Mexican Train Game, and 
• Turkish Okey

Both are great fun! The date is the second Wednesday next month (13th November) as we are running Varosha trips on the first Wednesday. 

Venue: Alley Kitchen and Bar as usual. 

3. Art Exhibition and Workshop. ‘Another World is Forever Possible of Peace’ is taking place in  the old Girne Belediye offices. The organisers have kindly agreed to donate profits to the ATA. Have a look at some of the TRNC leading Artists work.
