Activities

Apart from the annual tours which take place off the island, in Turkey and the surrounding region, the Anglo Turkish Association of Northern Cyprus also organises events on the island which generally occur bi-monthly.

The aim of these events are aimed at raising awareness of the rich history, culture and archaeological features of the island. This is done through talks, guided walks, visits to lesser known areas of the island, visits to government and other establishments to name but a few.

The events are the cornerstone of the Association’s fund raising and together with membership fees allow us to support local projects.

Whilst our events and tours are in the first instance intended primary for our own Association Members, we always welcome non-members to attend our events and tours (places permitting) to enable you to get a first hand insight into our Association.

If you are not a member of our Association but would like to attend a particular event or tour then please email for Events our Events Organiser or for Tours our Tours Organiser (see our committee member page for their contact details), alternatively you can speak in person to an Association Committee Member at one of our informal member clinics and ask for details of how you can attend.
