September Social Gathering 

Come and join us for the ATA Social Gathering on 28th September, at The Levant Restaurant in Karmi, benefitting from the skills of our new chef Filiz Numanoglu. 

Enjoy a Cypriot-style barbecue evening with traditional kebabs and mezes, served in the garden overlooking the mountains — the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the summer evening.

Date: Sunday 28th September

Venue: Levant Restaurant, Karmi (in the mountains near Girne and St Hilarion)

Non Members  1250 TL 

As payment for this social gathering is to be paid on the day, please have the correct money with you for this social gathering as change will not be available

PARKING IN KARMI: The Church Carpark near the Restauarant will fill up and those  arriving later, or wanting to walk through the village, should look to use the other car parks slightly outside of the centre of Karmi, or find odd spaces as is usual in TRNC villages. There will be a helper showing an ATA board to help attendees park and if necessary offering transport up to the restaurant from the car parks on the periphery of the village.

A minimum donation of 50TL to help those local ‘Good Causes’ the association supports is included in the price of this social gathering.

The ATA is researching new events and wants to know if any members, friends or family have capabilities whether they are musical or organisational if we were to run a Burns night, Ceilidh, St Patrick or St Andrew’s parties.

We would like to hear from dance teachers, callers and musicians who could help make for a great evening!

This month’s ATA social gathering, on Thursday 28th August is at The Dome Hotel’s newly refurbished ANCHOR  Restaurant by the sea!

VENUE: Anchor Restaurant Dome Hotel, Girne Sea Front

TIME: Gathering at 7:00 p.m. Dinner at 7:30 p.m

There will be live music starting at 8.00 p.m.

Menu:

Mezes provided

• Hummus
• Cacık 
• Beetroot
• Salad for everyone to share on the table plus a bottle of water for 4 will be free of charge.

Main course options (chose):

•  Seabass/seabream chips
• Fish and chips (cod)
• Chicken shish and chips
• Grilled meatballs (köfte) and chips
• Şeftali Kebab and chips

Vegetarian options:

• Spaghetti Napolitan
• Sauteed vegetables with chips.

PRICE : 1150 TL for members

              1200 TL for non-members

This is an evening meal with entertainment at a newly refurbished fabulous venue. An event not to be missed.

After a long hot day what better way is there, to cool off than to have a refreshing dip in the sea. Or just sitting back and relaxing whilst enjoying the fresh sea air. And afterwards watch the sunset on the sea while having a nice dinner on the boat.

5 kinds of Meze. And for the mains freshly cooked Chicken and Fish with chips and salad.

The Cost is £ 25 FOR MEMBERS and £ 27 FOR NON-MEMBERS

Time for arrival is 4.30 PM at the boat (Girne Old Harbour) at the Derya Deniz Boat. The boat will leave the harbour at 5.00 PM
