Tree planting

A tree planting event has been organised by request of the Muhtar of Muratağa.

Trees have been obtained from the Forestry Department and will be planted on Thursday 9th January 2025.

The Martyrs Families and Veterans Association alongside people from the village, school children and other dignitaries will be present as well as ATA Committee Members and ATA Association Members.

After tree planting, we will have coffee in the village.

The event will continue with a visit to Mormenekşe WomensHandicraft Course. There will be an opportunity to buy hand crafted items should you wish.

This will be followed by a lunch at a nearby restaurant.  

Date: Thursday, 9th January 2025

Venue: MURATAĞA MARTYRS CEMETARY AND MORMENEKŞE VILLAGE.

Time: Meet in Muratağa at 11.30 

Cost of lunch and menu will be provided by Tuesday 7th January 2025 and those wishing to attend should reply by 14.00 Wednesday 8thJanuary 2025.

PLEASE NOTE: should you book to attend this social gathering and subsequently cancel after the cut-off date (07.01.2025) for the social gathering, YOU are liable for the full payment price of the social gathering, which is to be paid at the associations next membership clinic. We will not accept bookings from those who persistently cancel.

 

A minimum donation of 50TL to help those local ‘Good Causes’ the association supports is included in the price of this social gathering.
