A fabulous fun evening, food was delicious.
A minimum donation of 50TL to help those local ‘Good Causes’ the association supports is included in the price of this social gathering.
28th September: A full Turkish breakfast (Palmiyeli Bahҫe in Karaoǧlanoǧlu) with the baked goods including the Turkish croissants made in house. The fruits are varied and often come from the garden. The preserves are homemade and the eggs organic.
A big thanks to Joyce Oxley for organising a great gathering and breakfast.
Another good turnout of ATA members were spoilt with volumous amounts of fruit, breads and spreads, menemen, cheeses, eggs and everything you can see from the pictures!
The hospitality from Burek and his team at Palmiyeli Bahҫe’s secret garden (hard to find if you don’t know it!) was impressive.
Members were updated by Tim Morgan, as a committee member, on:
- The new look website – BIG thanks to Margaret (Fergie) Ross,
- Progress on the Sensory room at the special needs school, and
- Special offer with DenizBank. ATA Members get a very attractive 50% reduction on transaction costs when transferring foreign currency. Duygu Aşman was also in attendance to take members queries. The first clinic will be held at their Girne branch next Wednesday 2nd October between 10.30-12.00hrs.
A good event enjoyed by all.
