AN EVENT EXCLUSIVELY ORGANIZED FOR ATA MEMBERS AND FRIENDS.
Once only a local ‘cheese’, now a worldwide culinary phenomenon: HELLİM. Let’s experience the process of Hellim making firsthand, and taste the freshest version of Hellim, served with freshly baked çörek, in a beautiful traditional Turkish Cypriot village house in Zeytinlik. The event will include experiencing Hellim making, and a walk around the picturesque village of Zeytinlik with an English-speaking tour guide. A traditional lunch will follow the walk. April social event
ATA 28th April Social Event is a dinner at The Grapevine which is a traditional Cypriot building in the centre of Girne. For many years this was the hub of British expat social life and lawyers who lunch when owned and run by “Jimmy” Kutlay Keço veteran of the Erenköy resistance in the 1974 war. Now run by Tugce Kortan and popular with young Cypriots and expats of all nationalities. We have negotiated a 3 course dinner at £23 for members and £25 for non members.
