The ATA Painting and Photography Exhibition took place in the Exhibition Rooms above the Public Library, Girne, from November 4th – 8th 2014.
There were 26 exhibitors, in watercolours, oils and acrylics, covering a wide range of subjects, especially “big cats.” This time there were few photographs though.
The Exhibition was opened on Wednesday 5th November at 5.30pm by the Mayor of Girne, Nidai Güngördü, in front of an invited audience. The Mayor said that he was pleased to open the Exhibition as it was a bi-communal event, and also that there were plenty of representatives from both communities at the opening.
After much debate, the Committee have decided that this was to be the last Exhibition that the Association will put on.
